At that moment, all the resources of Heaven were being invested to capture a wild heart! Inside that little church in Texas a fight had been staged and all the players had arrived. Again the dark forces had come to see if their work had been effective enough to disqualify this man from being in the Kingdom of God. Could they hold onto this simple man long enough to convince him God was worthless to him? Jesus had been interceding on this man’s behalf and the Spirit had worked diligently to bring about this face-off. I hadn’t understood the value the Father placed on His son’s shed blood. I didn’t know how valuable every drop was as it cried out from the earth “Pardoned” for my sake. Yes all heaven was engaged at that moment.
To the unseeing eye nothing was happening, but within this young man the final blow was being struck! Wham! The words of the pastor echoed again and he was upping the ante. “There is someone here who is mad at God and I cannot continue until he comes forward.” My determination was wavering and I felt the spiritual body blows taking their toll. My strength to withstand the call was eroding and my grasp upon my stiff-necked attitude was slipping. Again, everything stood still to watch the outcome of the moment. Darkness had grasped and tugged attempting to stop my ears with their lies. The Angels and all Heaven were pulling for God’s plans and purposes to breakthrough and one human heart swayed in the balance. I was going down….
